Last week, I had the greatest time attending one of our very good friend's wedding at the
Hydro Majestic Hotel. It was a beautiful and lively night - the Crystal Ballroom was really beautiful - I absolutely loved the decorations, the ambience was perfect!
Looking back at the pictures, I am so thirsty - the orange juice just seems such a thirst quencher to me right now (despite the slight sore throat I'm feeling...). Much as I did took all the food pictures, I guess only one or two I shall share in here. The rest were too bleargh due to bad lightling. Only had my PNS cam with me on that day...
The menu was delicious. A mix of Chinese and Punjabi food as you can see. They were all absolutely delicious, to my surprise as I did not expected the food to be that nice for a 3 star hotel. Boy was I wrong. It tasted better than some star hotel food! It's no wonder why this lovely couple chose
this hotel to have their wedding dinner.
The wedding favour was this sweet Indian dessert "
laddu". Do you like Laddu? It's really sweet and nice :-)
The starter was cool. I liked it a lot. They had spicy mango salad, deep fried chicken, spring rolls, and some sort of seafood sausage which is delicious.
The lights - these crystal balls that hang all over the hall was beautiful. So romantic... Guests entertained with Hindi songs, bhangra, and it lasted till the early hours in the morning... Fun & beautiful nite. Congratulations to the couple! :-)

hello there, i am goin to organise a ball for my college in hydro majestic this april. we are stucked at food issues..haha i dunno why it is so difficult but i was looking athe menu above and it is really good. and i was wondering if u have more pictures of the food?

Unfortunately the rest of the food pics are rather dark and wont look that good. I can tell you the food that night was ok. Go to them and have a food tasting session which they usually provide you. :-) Then you can tell them how it is and they will work on the food from there!
Must be really a nice wedding reception :)
