Here's some ketupat for my readers on this beautiful day of Eid. Ketupat is sticky rice wrapped in palas leave and then steamed. This is one food that I should really learn to cook, very useful for festive seasons and special occasions that we serve with Rendang.
I am thankful to be with all my family members here, and that the heavy continuous rain for the past 2 days had stopped. According to The Star Online, the heavy rain was caused from the tropical storm Mekhala from Vietnam. Penang finally filled with a little bit of sunshine today and I hope it stays. Finally, a clear day for a good celebration! :-)
