This blog has been abandoned by its author for several weeks. Untouched. I feel so sorry for myself because I had had no time to come up with cooking what more blogging. But I do not intend to stop writing about food and come up with recipes and dining experiences. It is what I love to do!Recently, my uncle brought us some almonds, berries, and dried fruits from somewhere... I was not around at home, but I did took the opportunity to take some pictures on a beautiful Saturday morning.
Can someone tell me what berries these are?
Some almonds with its shells on. They look very interesting!
Colourful grapes... The globe ones are the sweetest. I like seedless ones!
Ahh. Spicy chilis. These are dried chilis my mother purchase from a local market. She then de-seeds them to reduce the very spicy part of the chili, soften them up in warm water, and blended to make chili paste (chili boh). You then use it to spice up your fried noodles or meat in cooking!
Aren't these mangosteen beautiful?
Dark purple colours, with pretty cute green caps on.
They are my favourite local fruits. I rather have a mangosteen buffet than a durian buffet. Yummy....
